Fundraiser For ARTEX Animal Welfare Association on Tuesday

A fundraising event for ARTEX Animal Welfare Association will be held at TCBY on Tuesday.

Join the fun and help out with this fundraiser at TCBY on Richmond Road on Tuesday, October 2 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

ARTEX Animal Welfare Association provides assistance to the community in a variety of ways:

AAWA Cares: A program that provides assistance to pets in need. They may have owners financially stressed or may be rescues. Provisions range from preventative veterinary care (vaccines), to emergency veterinary treatment to food and housing.

Spay - Neuter: A program that provides low cost or no cost spay-neuter to qualified owners.

Second Chance: A program that works to evaluate, temper test, train, rehabilitate and generally allow our abused/neglected/abandoned animals a chance to heal and find a forever home.

Investigative/judicial: We work closely with government and law enforcement agencies on community animal welfare issues. We assist those entities in the enforcement of cruelty/neglect laws when appropriate and help with the care of seized/abandoned animals.
