The soundtrack of the movie Frozen shows no signs of melting away, sales-wise: Billboard reports that it's heading for an eighth week at #1.  If that prediction holds, it'll have hit a chart milestone.

If Frozen spends an eighth week at the top of the Billboard album chart, it'll become the longest-running #1 album since 2012, when Adele spent its 24th week on top.  Since then, the album that's stayed on top the longest has been Taylor Swift's Red, which managed seven weeks at #1 between 2012 and 2013.  Currently, Red and Frozen are tied with seven weeks each.

Elsewhere on the chart, singer and Voice coach Shakira is heading for a #2 debut with her new self-titled album.  If it enters the chart at #2, it'll be her highest-charting album ever.  Her previous high mark was #3, back in 2001, with her album Laundry Service.
