Downtown Texarkana will offer the perfect event for those who love to eat this Saturday, April 9, 2016. The "Second Annual Front Street Food Fest" will be held at Front Street Plaza from 10AM-9PM.

This Food Fest will offer a variety of foods from home-grown produce to restaurant quality fine cuisine and an array of vending trucks will serve a variety of foods, desserts and other tasty treats. In addition, there will be a scavenger hunt around the city called the Amazing Race Texarkana with cash prizes awarded.

"There will be all kinds of food available from all ethnic backgrounds and cultures, including Indian Food, Mexican, Korean, BBQ, Vegan food and your standard carnival foods like corny dogs, sausage on a stick, funnel cakes and more," said event organizer Tameka Grady.

"More than 15 vendors are expected to participate this year," she added. And one of those vendors will be Cathy Brown Smith with the “Be The Blessing Bakery” from Randy Sams.
