Flooding downpours are expected over the area today and tomorrow. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Four States Area. The unusually wet and cool weather for mid July will be a welcomed respite from the typical heat of summer.

High temperatures could stay in the mid 70's today which would be almost 20 degrees below normal. Rainfall between 3 and 6 inches is possible over the next couple of days. That much rain would lead to flash flooding of flood prone streets, creeks, and possibly rivers in the area.

This unusual weather should shift east of the area by Saturday. By next week we can expect to see high temperatures back in the mid 90's which is more typical for this time of Summer.

Enjoy the cool and rain while it lasts!!!!
