The lady who prepares the fried chicken gizzards at this store is an expert. She takes time to trim the gristle and fat, which makes the gizzards easy to pop in your mouth and enjoy without all of the chewiness that usually comes with eating gizzards. You must call ahead and order prior to 11AM.

These gizzards are very large and tender. The batter was good but didn't seem to have a lot of spice. They were too large to eat easily. If they were to cut the gristle in the middle of the gizzards and make them more of a bite size, these would be a super close second for me. Ask for fresh gizzards and they will cook a batch just for your order.

These gizzards were my least favorite. The batter did not have any spice and the gizzards were greasy. As a side dish, they may be okay but not as the main course. It is best to call ahead or you will experience a wait.
