"Fast Forward to Five" is our daily gift to you. If you're in that weird window of needing to kill time, but not having enough time to find funny or entertaining videos for yourself, we've got you covered.

We are calling today "Time-lapse Thursday" since today's theme is the stunning art of the time-lapse. There is just something incredible about seeing the world move in super speed. We're hoping it is mesmerizing enough to keep you occupied in those last few minutes before you can head home for the day. Too bad you can't time-lapse real life, huh? We've got the next best thing ... Fast Forward to Five!

Let's start off by showing a video you just know was done right. National Geographic posted this video a couple of years back, but it still manages to captivate all who watch it. We're not sure how fast your internet is at the office, but we suggest you click the little gear at the bottom of the screen and crank up the resolution.

Seeing the sky is great and all, but seeing a human grow from baby to teenager within 4 minutes is absolutely mind blowing. We just hope they keep this up, so in 40 or 50 years from now, we'll be able to see her grow into a sweet old woman. Wouldn't that be cool?

Tomorrow is September 11th, and we couldn't do a time-lapse themed fast forward post without showing the amazing footage of the One World Trade Center being built over the span of 11 years.
