Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) may be the main character of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but let’s be honest, the real reason we’re going to this movie is to see just how fantastic those titular beasts are. Last year, Warner Bros. revealed the names of a few of the creatures we’ll see, and recently we got a few quick looks at them in some of the new trailers, but a new TV spot has the most (and most fantastic) beast footage yet.

First we see a leopard-looking large cat, stalking through some kind of jungle. Then the trailer has a few new shots of that six-winged Thunderbird and what could be an Ashwinder, a serpent born from the embers of a fire. The shadowy, lethal Lethifold is the star of these 30 seconds, and can be seen chasing Newt through city streets. And there’s also what looks like a rhinoceros crashing through a building? We have some photos of a few of the other beasts in the movie not featured in this trailer, but so far the rumored Merpeople have been conspicuously absent. If you’ve seen the fourth Harry Potter movie, you know they’re not to be messed with. We’d hate to see a gang of those swimming around in the East River or the lakes of Central Park.

If anything, the animation technology they’ve used for this spinoff looks more phenomenal than ever, and Fantastic Beasts will definitely be a showcase for beautiful, imaginative CGI. It’s already leaning way into its mid-’20s New York setting, and even the sets and costumes look just gorgeous.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in theaters November 18.
