Fair Fun — Riding the Orbiter With My Stepson

I finally got Ethan to ride the Orbiter with me! It took a while to convince him that it would be tons of fun.

We are enjoying our family fun at the fair this year with fun passes. If you are going to spend more than a couple of hours riding rides, the fun passes are the way to go. Not to sound like an infomercial or anything but seriously, you will spend WAY more on the rides if you just go the ticket route. We have used our Fun Passes for three days so far. Do the math: I think they are paying ME to ride now!

I have noticed that changing my attitude towards the "scary" rides has changed Ethan's as well. It is one of those lessons that can be utilized in other areas of life. I'm always cautious to not say things against certain foods or doing certain things because I want Ethan to form his own opinions based on his experiences. Its like one of those family sitcom shows...there has to be a life lesson learned right.
