Swingin' In Spring! features Stacy James Mayo and the Texarkana Jazz Orchestra. Peter Carroll and Stacy James Mayo will be your hosts for the evening. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6 p.m. as guests find a place at one of the 30 preset tables in the Grand Ballroom. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will include salad, bacon wrapped pork, twice baked mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans, dinner rolls and a chocolate or raspberry cheesecake bits for dessert.
The band will begin at 7 p.m. and play through 10 p.m. Texarkana Jazz Orchestra will perform brassy, energetic big band jazz which will be perfect for those of you who wish to get your 'swing' on! Peter Carroll will give a short tutorial on swing dancing for anyone who wishes to learn a few basic moves. Any style of dance goes though. Just get out there and have a great time!
A full cash bar will be open for the entirety of the event.
