THE MAIN EVENT  Elena Urioste  Elena Urioste is a BBC New Generation Artist and has been featured on the cover of Symphony magazine. She began her career at the age of thirteen when she appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Since then\, she's performed with orchestras all over the world\, including the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Pops in the United States\, the London Philharmonic Orchestra in England and the Orchestra Dohnányi Budafok in Hungary. She has also won numerous awards\, including the inaugural Sphinx Medal of Excellence\, London Music Masters Award\, and first prize at the Sion International Violin Competition. A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music\, Elena completed her graduate studies at The Juilliard School.  Texarkana Symphony Orchestra  Founded in 2006\, the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra performs under the direction of Marc-André Bougie\, a Montreal native who founded and directed the Orchestre des Sources\, composed pieces like String-Quartet\, and who conducted at Carnegie Hall. He currently is on faculty at Texarkana College and is the music director for Texarkana Symphony Orchestra\, the Texarkana Regional Chorale and the Shreveport Chorale. SUMMARY:The Colt Classics
DESCRIPTION:The Colt Classic's music paints a picture with inspiration stretching from the spirit of the west\, through the glorious eastern pines all the way to the sands of foreign lands. On that canvas is remendants of wild women\, love found and lost\, bottles drained\, lungs filled\, and mistakes made with a bit angst and a Texan drawl.    The Colt Classics are a two man band out of Texarkana\, Texas/Arkansas. The duo combine a mix of original and cover songs that range from classic country\, 90's alternative\, and contemporary indie.    The band greatly enjoys playing all original shows\, but has come to understand the need for mixing in covers to play at your favorite local bars.    In January of 2012\, Zac moved to Texarkana\, Arkansas. It was in Texarkana that he found Jonathan Allred. The two met at a local watering hole and decided to team up and revive the spirit of The Colt Classics. The duo's first EP "The Devil's in the Details" is set to be released in early 2013. It includes 5 songs and was produced and recorded by Frank Prior at Smart Studios in Texarkana\, Texas.

DESCRIPTION:Whether you ride a motorcycle\, drive a car or anything else\, please come have some fun with us. Everyone is welcome to attend! (And your vehicle doesn't really have to be pink.)    The event starts with a Pink Ball at the Whiskey River Harley Davidson event room on Friday\, April 26 at 6 p.m. Dinner will be provided by Outback Steakhouse and will feature live entertainment and a live auction by Tracy Travillion.    The Pink Ride starts at 10 a.m. on April 27. Participants will leave from Whiskey River Harley Davidson led by a police escort (courtesy the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office) and will ride around Texarkana to Dwight’s Bikers Dream in New Boston\, Texas. Then everyone will return to Whiskey River Harley Davidson for food\, live music and lots of vendors.    All proceeds from this event stay in the Texarkana community and will help two wonderful women suffering from breast cancer.  COST  Tickets to the Pink Ball are limited\, so get yours while they last! The cost is $35 for per couple or $20 for individuals.    Individual pricing for the Pink Ride only is $30 and $10 for rider. The price includes a t-shirt and patch.    Bundle pricing is $70 per couple for tickets to the Pink Ball and Pink Ride and includes a t-shirt and patch.    Pink Ride is a non-profit organization.

THE PRE-SHOW  Captain Joe Band  The Captain Joe Band starts the pre-show at 7 p.m. on the Coors Light stage. One of the area's favorite bands\, Captain Joe is comprised of six family guys who love to play music and have a great time. Over the past few years\, the band has formulated its own unique style and arranged some of the most famous southern rock and country songs to ever be recorded. You're sure to hear some of your favorites during their rocking performance.  THE MAIN EVENT  Easton Corbin  Easton Corbin is one of the hottest acts in country music today. Since breaking on the scene in 2009\, he's had two number one singles\, earned multiple awards and nominations including three American Country Awards and has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world. His sophomore album\, All Over The Road\, features music by Nashville's A-list songwriters and two which he co-wrote. DESCRIPTION:There is a $90 entry fee per boat (for one or two people) with 80 percent payback and a $5 "Big Bass Pot" per person with 100 percent payback!    All proceeds from the tournament will help to purchase much needed equipment in order to protect the local community.    Check in for the tournament begins at 5 p.m. Fishing starts at 6 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.    Weigh in will open at 11 a.m. Once you have weighed a fish you may not add to your total by returning later with additional fish. Contestants must stop fishing no later than 3 p.m. They must also be in the weigh-in line by 3:15 p.m. or weight will be forfeited for the tournament. SUMMARY:12th Annual Twin Rivers Festival - Day 1
DESCRIPTION:Visitors will enjoy arts & crafts and tasty eats from vendors each day.    Most of all there will be games and entertainment for all to enjoy including high school bands\, men and women arm-wrestling\, a dominoes tournament\, kids slides\, and sack races.    On Friday\, April 26\, the festival opens at noon and will run until 10 p.m. A talent show will start at 7 p.m. and an adult dance at 9 p.m.The dominoes tournament will also begin Friday and conclude on through Saturday when the winning teams are announced.    On Saturday\, April 27\, the festival opens at 9 a.m. and ends at midnight. There will be dipping for "dollars" all day. The parade starts at noon and will feature the Corvette Car Club from North Little Rock; Rough Riders Horse Show from Killeen\, Texas; showstopper motorbikes; East Texas Soul Riders and more.    Twin City Taekwondo will also perform on Saturday\, followed by the Liberty Eylau Drill Time\, Stumpers Marching Band\, Hope High Jazz Cats\, and Sister of the Gospel Explosion  at 5 p.m.    At 10 p.m.\, there will be a blues show and dance featuring Ms. Rennia Figures and Little TC with DJ Jimmy Williams. Concert tickets are $7. SUMMARY:2013 Frog Giggin' Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Pre-register your team online and then come out to the Ashdown Farmers Market on Friday\, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. ready to catch some frogs. Event planners will conduct a mandatory safety meeting at 7 p.m. before sending you on your way to start giggin'.  The Details  The Frog Giggin Tournament Series by Riverbank Products started in 2012 and unlike a bass tournament\, this is a team event. Teams must work together and search for frogs on Friday night within a 60 mile radius of the tournament sight. Total bag limit per team is 15 frogs and biggest frog and biggest bag weight will receive payouts. Payouts will increase by 25 percent if a child younger than 16 is a member of the team.    There is also a new addition to this year's tournament series. During Saturday's Weigh-In\, live frogs caught during the tournament will be entered into the Frog Race. Much like herding cats\, teams encourage their frog to run the race course. The first frog to cross the finish line wins. It's sure to make for great entertainment. SUMMARY:Foreman Volunteer Fire Department Poker Run
DESCRIPTION:Register at the Foreman Fire Department at 8 a.m.\, then take off in pursuit of a winning poker hand\, collecting cards at each stop along the way.    The first bike leaves the station at 10 a.m. then rides across Milwood Lake toward Beards Bluff\, then on to Old Washington State Park\, followed by a stop in Nashville\, Ark. before returning to Foreman.    Once everyone returns to the Foreman station\, the winning hand will be laid down and the $250 winner announced!    Everyone will receive a hamburger lunch after the ride.    The cost of this event is $20 per bike + $5 for an extra rider. All proceeds benefit the Foreman Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. DESCRIPTION:Yes Texarkana you do have a local roller derby league! The Quad State Derby Dames are hosting a fundraiser to raise funds to pay for their practice time at the rink. So go on out and support them and get your car washed!    They are asking for a $5 donation to wash your car! They will wash a bike or a truck. There will be girls washing vehicles and girls on skates. You know you got to come by and check it out! They hope to see everyone out there.    They practice on Wednesday night at the skating rink and are always recruiting skaters\, refs\, and non skate officials. All skate levels welcome. They are looking for sponsors too.    They have a sponsor packet. If you would like to look at it\, contact the Quad State Derby Dames through their website and they will get back with you.
