Multiple adult dogs, two litters of puppies and two wild hogs were seized from a Bowie County residence on Wednesday after a call to the sheriff's office was made by a concerned citizen.

Sheriff James Prince went to the residence on County Road 4111 on Wednesday, March 25, to investigate an alleged animal cruelty situation. Once at the residence, Sheriff Prince saw conditions that led him to request a warrant to seize the animals from the property.

Once the warrant was received members of the press were allowed to take photos and videos of the premises. I would like to say this is the first time I have ever seen anything like this, but unfortunately it is not.
