If you are one of the many people that can't stand that extra skin below your chin, often called a "double chin," then you are in luck. The FDA just approved a drug that dissolves the fat in your double chin.

We have all had photos taken that we didn't like because of our second chin. Selfies have really brought self awareness of our double chin-itis to the forefront.

According to CNN, the FDA just approved a new drug called 'Kybella' that targets and dissolves the fat in your double chin. It's the first method they've approved to get rid of neck fat without surgery. You can get a few injections to remove your neck fat but of course, there are always bad side effects or adverse reactions. A few people in clinical trials wound up with nerve injuries that caused some major damage to their faces, but for the most part, it worked. The results were good enough that the FDA approved the drug.

A dermatologist just gives you a bunch of injections of 'Kybella' under your jaw line, and it goes right to work. It might take a few sessions, but you'll be healed in a few days and you won't even need bandages. The downside is 'Kybella' isn't approved to eliminate fat in other parts of your body and even worse, a few of the people who used it in clinical trials wound up with nerve injuries that warped their faces.

Kybella is scheduled to go on sale next month.
