Court Puts Scheduled Texas Execution on Hold

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals halted a planned execution in the state of Texas just a couple of hours before it was to happen Tuesday in Huntsville.The execution of 41 year old Robert James Campbell would have been the first in the U.S. since the botched attempt in Oklahoma last month. The court says the inmate's low IQ should be fully considered before an execution takes place.

Campbell is on death row for rape and murder..
