Community Yard Sale and Electronics Recycling at Spring Lake Park on Saturday

The City of Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department is hosting their annual community wide Spring yard sale and electronics recycling day this weekend.

The event will be held at Spring Lake Park from 8AM to 3PM on Saturday, April 30. This community wide yard sale is located in the field next to the baseball diamonds in Spring Lake Park, Texarkana, Texas.  People, businesses and groups come together with tons of different items for sale, except animals, firearms, weapons of any sort, and food. This is your opportunity to visit many different yard sales in one convenient location.

Recycle your old electronics on Saturday during the yard sale.

Items that can be recycled on Saturday:

• Computers
• Printers
• Fax Machines
• Keyboards
• Photocopiers
• Televisions
• VCRs
• Microwaves
• Stereos
• Phones (business, cell and home)
• Consumer Electronics

No large appliances will be accepted for recycling during this event.

For more information contact the City of Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department at 903-798-3978. Since this event is held outdoors, if it rains the alternate day is May 14. If it rains that day as well, another date will be announced for the sale, or the sale may be cancelled--please contact the parks office for additional information. There is no fee to shop.
