City Council Candidates Encouraged to File

Texarkana, Texas City Council seats will be on line in the upcoming Spring City Election.Candidates can file to run for office from January 30th through March 1st. Up for grabs this year is the Council Ward 2 seat currently held by Willie Ray, the Ward 3 seat held by Tina Veal-Gooch, and the Ward 5 seat occupied by Bill Miller.

This years Texarkana, Texas City Election will be held on Saturday May 11th, with polls open from 7 am to 7 pm on that day.
