Christian Concert Coming to Area
A Christian concert is coming to our area this Summer.
The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope and Hempstead Hall are pleased to present live in concert American Christian rock band MERCY ME on June 13 in Hempstead Hall. Mercy Me has been entertaining groups around the world and sharing their love and faith through song. Their single “I Can Only Imagine” crossed over onto pop radio and shocked the world with its powerful message and sales, as it earned a double platinum certificate. Through their career, Mercy Me has had 13 consecutive top 5 singles on the Billboard Christian Songs chart, with 7 of them reaching number 1. They have won 8 Dove Awards and have had numerous Grammy Award nominations. The band released its eighth studio album titled Welcome to the New on April 8 of this year.
