THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A

It's April, that means Severe Weather is possible across the area this afternoon and evening.

For those who are tired of the Winter 2013-14, the good news is that Spring officially arrives around noon today.

It was 26 degrees in my neck of the woods this morning. There was ice on my front steps so my first few steps outside were slippery.

Check out this very strange fog rolling across the road this morning. In some areas it looked like a light snow rolling over the road. There was a light mist which could have also been identified as fog.

Unfortunately for those who have been enjoying this early taste of Spring-like conditions, winter is not done yet.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory due to Freezing Rain.

Punxsutawney Phil has come out of his burrow to make his annual weather prediction.

Some of the coldest temperatures of the Winter Season expected to hit the area over the next 48 hour period.

The weather as of late has been very up and down as far as temperatures are concerned and this looks likely to continue.

Another round of bitterly cold weather is forecast for the Texarkana area for tonight.
