April 10, 2012 Sweet Amanda is a sweet dog that will make a great pet for a single person or a family. She is approximately one year old and looks like a mix of Lab and Shepherd. She weighs about 25 pounds. Amanda is a little shy but will work out of that quickly once she gets into a home.
Amanda comes with a free wellness exam from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital.

TALA Fundraiser to Benefit H.I.P. – Win Great Prizes
April 6, 2012 Members of the Texarkana Association of Legal Assistants are selling raffle tickets for their yearly fundraiser. This year's recipient is H.I.P. Mentoring Children of Prisoners (HIP stands for Hope, Inspiration, and Protection).
Prizes include a Sony camera, weekend getaways, dining packages and much more. The deadline to purchase tickets is Tuesday, April 10.
