The 4th annual "Draw Down for a Hand Up" to benefit Randy Sams Outreach Shelter is tonight, September 29, at Hands On Texarkana 1915 Olive Street at 7PM. As of this writing only four tickets remain for this fall fundraiser.
The fourth annual Texarkana suicide prevention walk is Saturday, Oct. 1, in Bobby Ferguson Park. This event is held in honor of Matthew Gaines as well as many others. The walk is free to participate in because the purpose of the walk is to raise awareness and prevent suicide.
