The Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department is investigating a murder that occurred just before midnight at a local apartment complex.

On Saturday, October 22, from 10AM until 1PM the Bi-State Narcotics Task Force, comprised of the Texarkana Ark. Police Department and the Miller County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the Texarkana Ark. On Wednesday Oct. 5, 2016 at 11PM, the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department responded to the intersection of East 10th and California Streets in reference to a report of a stabbing.  Upon officers’ arrival, they located the victim, Jeffery Baker, a 43-year old male lying in the middle of the road bleeding profusely.

The Texarkana, Texas Police Department is searching for Wilmer Joe Hill, Jr., 21, of Texarkana, Texas after warrants were issued this morning for charges stemming from several incidents yesterday, including Aggravated Assault of a Public Servant, Assault-Family Violence, Evading Arrest in a Vehicle, and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.

LaJason Coakley was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 by the United States Marshall Service in Texarkana and charged with 1st Degree Murder.

At 6:43PM yesterday, Sept. 5, the Texarkana, Texas Police Department responded to a shots' fired call at 109 Connella Street.

The Nash, Texas Police Department received a $3,000 check from the Texas Department of Transportation for participation in the Memorial Day Click It or Ticket Campaign.

On Wednesday, August 31, 2016 the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department arrested Chris Whistle, 39, of Texarkana, on outstanding felony warrants for delivery of controlled substance. Whistle was wanted on federal charges stemming from a case that was initiated by members of the Bi-State Narcotics Task Force (BSNTF) and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.
