Obo is an 11 month old Terrier-Pitt mix that has been on the adoption floor for some time now. He is very energetic and has an outgoing personality. This week's featured pet is Jelly. She is a very sweet and super soft terrier mix. Jelly is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations and house trained. She is good with kids, dogs and cats. She loves to be carried and does pretty good on a leash, too.

Register now for the Pork Chop 5k run or the family run and one mile dog walk that will kick off the first annual Oktoberfest in Downtown Texarkana. The 5k will be a timed event. It's finally here. Oktoberfest is hitting Downtown Texarkana this Saturday. It was previously rescheduled because of rain but this Saturday's forecast is calling for great festival weather.

This little black and tan dog has been wandering around the walking trail next to St. Michael Healthcare Center's parking lot for several weeks. She is afraid and untrusting. Many people have tried to catch her with no luck. She eats well for sure because tons of people are feeding her three and four times a day.
