Please join the massive hunt for the beloved Boxer named Duke. Dog and owner were involved in a head on collision on Sunday, March 1 near Redwater, Texas. Jeff Crosswhite and Daniel Squibb lost their lives in the accident. Duke was in the truck with Jeff and ran after the accident.

Foxy is a Corgi at the animal shelter in Texarkana. She is a beauty! Sweet, calm and a good listener. All the traits most of us are looking for in a companion but she has four legs instead of two. Bonus - she will always be happy to see you when you get home no matter how late it is.

This sweet boy likes to run and play. He gets along great with dogs. Probably not a lap dog but a great running buddy.

The Texarkana Friends of the Shelter are hosting the Fur Ball which is a fundraising Gala to help raise money for the Animal Care and Adoption Center in Texarkana, Arkansas. Get your tickets now for this fun event.

This adorable puppy is our featured shelter pet this week for Provide a Pet a Pad. She is an adorable mixed pup that has a unique coloring and will probably be a medium size dog. She likes to play and will even fetch the ball...eventually. Ha! She can learn quickly to bring the ball to you. She likes to play with children and as you can see by these photos, she is not very big right now.

Texarkana Friends of the Shelter is teaming up with Pecan Point Brewery to raise money for the animal shelter. Mark you calendar now for Saturday, March 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This beautiful dog is young and sweet. She doesn't appear to have had much done with her to this point in her life. She doesn't know how to walk on a leash yet. This guy is handsome, sweet and loves to cuddle. Sounds like the perfect date! Byron (who also answers great to Max) is one of the most-fantastic dogs that I have taken photos of at the shelter in recent weeks. He has a GREAT disposition. He also has a fun sense of humor.

The Texarkana Friends of the Shelter will host its first Fur Ball, a fundraising Gala, which will be held Saturday, March 28 at Silvermoon on Broad Street in downtown Texarkana.
