A Place Called Home
Recently, one of our employees told us about this little male kitten who needs to find his forever family. Could you be the one to offer him a place called home?

Bobby was our May 14, 2013 dog for Provide a Pet a Pad on Power 95.9. He has SO much potential but unfortunately, after weeks of being confined and bullied, he has developed a strong dislike for his kennel mate and has started fighting with him. There is not enough room at the shelter for Bobby to be in a kennel of his own. He will either need to be adopted or fostered within the next two days or he faces being put to sleep.
Here is an update to the story about the litter of puppies that was found after momma and babies were separated for five days.
Momma, babies and daddy are doing well. Daddy "Pierre" has now been neutered. Momma "Selma" will be spayed once the puppies are weaned. The puppies are getting a little bigger. They were about a pound and a half when they were picked up.
Daisy is a very sweet Basset Hound. She is 2 years old and already spayed. She is house-trained too. Her owners had to downsize and the home they moved to would not allow dogs so Daisy is now looking for a new family to take her in. Daisy appears to be good with children too. She longs for a family to love her and give her a chance.
Since Daisy is already spayed her adoption fee is only $40. When you adopt Daisy you also get a FREE Wellness Package from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital.

PUPPIES FOUND! I can't believe it worked! I picked a stray momma dog up on Saturday. She was hanging out looking for food at Hot Tails Crawfish located on Hwy 71 at DuJack's Liquor Store--five miles out of town with no homes in sight. She was destined to be ran over if I left here there. She kept weaving between the cars, looking as if she was lost. She was painfully skinny.
I took her to the vet on Tuesday hoping she was still pregnant. She wasn't. She ALREADY had puppies and they were out there somewhere. On the advice of Dr. Stacey Swain Hendershott I took the momma dog back to where I found her and let her lead me to the puppies.
Adele is a little over one year old. She looks big but she isn't. She is a medium-size dog, approximately 20 pounds. She loves to play ball and is very sweet. Very loyal.
Adele looks like a pomeranian mix--I actually had two poms bigger than her. Great dogs!

Sierra is a German Shepherd Dog that was last seen in the Genoa area this weekend. She is approximately 4 to 5 years old, very-very friendly, wearing a red collar with tags at the time she disappeared. Her ears are up-right, but she tends to put them down a lot too. If seen please call 903-701-2271 or 903-701-0931.
