The Sept. 11 Memorial is set to open exactly 10 years and one day after the planes crashed into the World Trade Center. The 9/11 Memorial will open on September 12, after being dedicated during Sunday’s remembrance ceremony in New York City.

What is this pretty flower? It looks like something that would grow in a tropical climate but it is growing in my yard. It is on top of a pile of dirt that I had hauled in a couple of years ago. Check out the fruit that is also growing on this vine.

I have dressed my dogs up before but I haven't tried dyeing their fur yet. This pink poodle was at Railfest in Texarkana with his/her brown poodle friend that I only saw from a distance and was unable to tell if he was sporting dyed fur too.
