November 21, 2011 Several dog rescues joined forces to pack a 10x10 booth full of dogs looking for new homes at this year's annual Junior League Mistletoe Fair at the Four States Fairgrounds. If you missed it, be sure to mark your calendar for next year's event: November 15 through 18, 2012.
November 15, 2011 Laker is about 2 years old. He is at the animal shelter in Texarkana, AR. A great dog. Very sweet. Gets along well with other dogs. We are guessing he is a Spaniel mix. November 1, 2011 Spuds is approximately 3 years old. He is SUPER smart. Spuds is a large, mixed breed dog. He is around 65 pounds. He is SUPER smart! Great on a leash. Very friendly too. He likes to roll in the grass, something he doesn’t get to do very often. Spuds was very calm on a leash which is surprising since he just came out of the shelter where all of the dogs were barking.
