The family of Carolyn Thornton recently donated $20,000 to establish the Carolyn Thornton Memorial Nursing Endowed Scholarship at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.

Great news for the Texas High School Tiger Theatre Company Troupe 2526. They recently participated in the Virtual Texas Thespian Festival, with three students earning top ratings.

Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s Extended Education and Community Development (EECD) department is offering a 50% grant for workforce training for anyone who has experienced a hardship due to COVID-19. This covers online, start anytime training that can be completed in six months or less.
