Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports a total of 132 positive COVID-19 cases, with 84 recoveries and 12 related deaths. Cass County has a total of 28 with 20 recovered. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice reports 72 positive cases at the Barry B. Telford Unit.
Miller County has 42 total cases, 0 active positive cases, 665 negative results, 41 recovered, 1 death. (Updated 5/28/20)

Summer is here and over the weekend Holiday Springs Water Park in Texarkana officially opened. Of course, there are a few changes to expect because of Covid-19, including social distancing and a lower capacity of people.
Great News! The Texarkana Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation, along with several other local foundations and businesses, has raised $75,000 for a program to assist small businesses in the community.
Harvest Regional Food Bank is doing it again. They will be distributing 500 emergency food boxes to New Boston-area residents on Wednesday, May 27 beginning at 9AM at T&P Trail Head Park Pavilion located at 200 S Ellis St, New Boston, TX.
