February 14, 2012 My husband surprised me with notes all over the house and even in my truck this morning. There were Valentines on the bathroom TV, the mirror, in my purse, inside the cover of my Galaxy Tab and on the chocolate bar he delivered to the studios this morning. So very sweet!

January 3, 2012 New Year Resolutions. Do you have any?
Do you remember any from last year? I do. I wanted to have a clean sink every night before turning in. That didn't quite come to be but close, several times. It was also revived in November and I can happily say that when I left for work this morning I had a clean sink. My husband and the kids are at home this week so I imagine there will be cups and bowls hanging out in the sink for a while today but that's okay. As long as they are put up before bedtime.
January 2, 2012 This Christmas tree finally made it up! Christmas Eve was the final day to get it up and that is just what I did on a cold rainy afternoon.
I forgot how long it took to shape the tree. It had been crammed in a bag for at least two years. I had to put my headlamp on to do the job right. Everyone should have a headlamp, but that is a whole nother story in itself, back to the tree.
January 1, 2012 Christmas parties. The games, white elephant gift exchange, wild game chili and good friends. The memories will soon fade into the new year but the photos will go on for eternity!
