If you think you may have Covid-19 there is a way to find out for free at several locations this week. COVID-19 testing is happening in several locations over the next few days in Texarkana, New Boston and in Hope.

New Boston's 50th Annual Pioneer Days Festival is set for August 12 - 15, 2020 for downtown New Boston, Texas at T&P Trail Head Park Pavilion and Festival Grounds.

It may be a new month but the fact is there is still a need for blood donors. As the hospitals get back to doing elective surgeries the need for blood increases.  Also be sure to take advantage of getting a free COVID-19 Antibody Test when you donate through Sunday, June 14.

Do you think you might have had Covid-19? Would you like to be tested to see if you did, in fact, have it?  LifeShare Blood Center will temporarily be adding testing for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies to the panel of testing for all volunteer blood donors. The testing will begin today, Monday, June 1 and end on Sunday, June 14. The test can indicate whether someone has been exposed to COVID-19.

The Greater Texarkana Young Professionals (GTYP) recently partnered with Commercial National Bank to provide scholarships to three local high school seniors, those awards were made this week. In June, the GTYP would like you to join them for their first-ever golf tournament to help pay for next years scholarship program.
