With the increase of COVID cases in Bowie County the Texarkana Independent School district sent out a reminder email to parents.

Tomorrow afternoon a very special blood drive will take place. It is the LifeShare Blood Centers Annual blood drive 'Holiday Inn Express Nicole's November' that is held in memory of one of their former employees.

Did you know that when you donate blood that one donation can help up to 3 people? When you donate you could be saving the life of someone who has been in a serious accident, someone who needs surgery because of heart problems, cancer patients and even babies and pregnant women. There will be a free COVID-19 testing event this Thursday, July 16 at the Four States Fairgrounds and you do not need to have any symptoms to be tested. If you are wondering if you have COVID-19 but you might be asymptomatic this is where you can get tested.

The FDA just released a warning on 9 extremely toxic hand sanitizers, and the symptoms are serious. Please make sure you do not have any of these hand sanitizers as they could cause serious side effects including death. Please be careful. These need to be disposed of in hazardous waste containers. Do Not flush or put down the drain.
