Texarkana’s first ever color run is happening in November! The event has been named the Amanda Fussell Woodman Memorial CASA Colorful 5K and Family Fun Run in honor of Amanda's dedication to CASA.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2, at Trinity Baptist Church. Registration is at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m.

The run is a 3.1 mile fitness run/walk on a cross country trail. The run begins on an open field and winds through a dirt trail system. The family walk will remain on the sidewalk around the church for a one mile walk.

Why is it called a Colorful Run?

The race begins with each participant releasing a bag of color into the air creating a beautiful burst of color! Stations will also be located throughout the race route for you to be showered with brightly colored powder to turn your white shirt into a color explosion. The color is made from Eco-friendly food colored cornstarch.

Early registrations guarantees your white t-shirt for the event and a bag of color. Please wear clothing that you are not worried about getting stained. Most of the powder will come out but there may be some residue.
