The St. Louis Cardinals lead in the NLCS was trimmed to three games to two with Los Angeles 6-4 win in California on Wednesday. The good news for the Cardinals is that Game six and if necessary Game seven will be played in St. Louis. Friday nights pitching matchup is former Pleasant Grove star Michael Wacha versus L-A's ace Clayton Kershaw.

If Wacha fails to deliver, the Cardinals will have their ace Adam Wainwright ready to go in Game Seven in Missouri on Saturday. Both teams are struggling a bit at the plate, each having scored only 12 runs a piece in 5 games played so far.

The winner of this series will take on the AL Champion in the World Series beginning next Wednesday. The ALCS is tied two games a piece with Boston playing at Detroit Thursday night.
