Bruno Mars, Sting & Rihanna to Perform Together at Grammys; Kelly Clarkson Also on the Bill
Many have noted that Bruno Mars’ #1 hit “Locked Out of Heaven” sounds a bit like an ’80s song by The Police. Well, you’ll be able to compare Bruno’s sound with that of Police frontman Sting side-by-side, because they’ll be performing together at the Grammy Awards this weekend. In addition, Rihanna will join the two guys for the joint performance, which will definitely have an island flavor.
Kelly Clarkson has also been added to the bill of performers on the telecast, which airs on CBS February 10. Fresh from the Super Bowl, Beyonce has joined the lineup of presenters, as have country star Hunter Hayes, Jennifer Lopez and Prince.
Sting has won 16 Grammys in his career while Bruno and Rihanna are past winners and current nominees this year. Kelly is also a past winner and current nominee.
Other musical team-ups this year include Alicia Keys and Maroon 5 along with Ed Sheeran and Elton John. Other performers include Taylor Swift, The Lumineers, fun., Carrie Underwood, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and Mumford & Sons.
