Oops, Britney Spears is doing it again. After the pop star was surprised by over 1,000 of her fans who waited for her in the Las Vegas desert, she announced on Tuesday's Good Morning America that she'll begin a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, starting December 27.

The show, titled Britney, Pieces of Me, is an action-packed show that's a mix between clubbing and theater. Britney said she's been training for "five hours a day" for the residency.

"I love Vegas. The energy here is really, really good," Britney said. "We wanted the environment to be mixed that way so people could come and have a good time and stand up and feel like they’re in the show with me."

Britney said fans who see the show can expect "greatest hits but I'm gonna have to put some of my new material into it," she said. They can also expect to see her two kids, 7, and Jayden, 6 to be onstage too, although Britney admitted, "Jayden may have a hard time with it."

"I really enjoy what I do," Britney added. "I have fun performing. I feel like I'm at home onstage. And I feel blessed that I'm able to do that. That is my job."

Tickets for Britney, Pieces of Me are $59 and go on sale Tuesday, September 17.

Britney had another major announcement on GMA. Her new album, which is still untitled, hits shelves December 3.

The twice-divorced pop star said fans can expect a lot of songs about heartbreak on her eighth studio album. "During this album I had a break-up with fiancé Jason Trawick that I wrote a lot about," she admitted.
