Bowie County Special Olympics Benefit to be Held Jan. 31

It’s time to mark your calendars to participate in the 8th Annual Bowie County Special Olympics Benefit. This annual benefit is co-sponsored by Texarkana Dart Association and Texarkana Elks Lodge #2771. The event will be held on Saturday, January 31, at the Texarkana Elks Lodge at 3702 New Boston Road. Doors will open at noon and you're invited to join the families and friends of Bowie County Special Olympics as they celebrate eight years of fun with a silent auction, dart tournament, lunch, and some very special athletes. Entertainment includes a special performance by the Krystal Bell Ringers from New Boston Life Skills Class.

Auction items include jewelry, home decor, gift cards, gift baskets and a variety of products and services donated by local vendors and shops. Your participation in the Special Olympics will add tremendous value to the community and assist in providing for our deserving athletes with intellectual disabilities. All proceeds directly benefit more than 350 Special Olympic Athletes of Bowie County as well as Cass County, Fouke, Ark., and Texarkana, Ark.
