Bond Set For Local Police Officer Jailed in Domestic Violence Case

Bond has been set at $600,000 for Hooks Texas Police Sgt. David Horn. Horn is charged in connection with an incident that left a woman hospitalized in very serious condtion, after witnesses say she was stabbed repeatedly with syringes containing an animal tranquilizer. A male who also lives at the residence alleges that Horn pointed a gun at him and threatened to shoot, and a another female says she was assaulted by the suspect as well. The victim remains in intensive care at a local hospital in what is described as very serious condition. Judge Nancy Talley read Sgt. Horn the Magistrates warning this morning and set bond at $500,000 for aggravated assualt and $100,000 for deadly conduct. The investigation into this domestic crime continues today.
