Are you ready for food, fun, entertainment and phenomenal speakers this weekend during the annual Boggy Creek Festival in Fouke? Catch all of the fun unlike anything you have ever experienced at a festival and this one is in our own backyard this weekend starting on Friday, Oct 23 at the Miller County Fairgrounds in Fouke, ARK. The festival lasts through Sunday, Oct. 25.

The Boggy Creek Festival is an annual community event held in Fouke, ARK. It is a family friendly event with tons of fun to be had. Learn the history behind the Boggy Creek Monster phenomenon and enjoy the festival atmosphere with food, shopping, music and more.

"You know you've got the Boggy Creek Festival on your mind when you head to the deer woods to take a break and began wondering just what is in those woods that you spend so much time in each year. I personally hope that each of you that come this weekend will have a great time getting away from the hustle of normal schedules," said event organizer DeAnna O'Malley.

People from all over will be attending this event from as far away and Mississippi, Florida and Maine. The purpose of the event is to bring together the local community and to share information about the sasquatch-like creature that has been sighted in the area for over a century. The festival features local arts and crafts, music, entertainment, food vendors, and presentations by some of the top bigfoot researchers and authors in the field.

This is the third annual event and will be held at the Miller County Fairgrounds Friday through Sunday, Oct. 23-25.
