March 5, 2013 Rose is a super cute puppy. She is approximately 12 weeks old. She is mixed puppy, possibly with some sort of shepherd. She will be a large dog. She currently weighs 20 pounds. Rose is very loving and a smart girl. She is crate trained and working on leash training. Very happy, playful dog. She plays well with other dogs.
February 28, 2013 Muttley Crew Rescue is holding a dog adoption event on Saturday, March 2, at Petsmart in Texarkana, Texas, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Several dog rescues will join the event and there will be many different breed dogs up for adoption.

February 20, 2013 There are so puppies at the shelter right now. It seems the Spring baby season is here early. There are at least 4 litters of babies with their mommas. So far only one litter is on the adoption floor—there just is not enough room for all of the animals. From small breed dogs to large breed dogs. Please take a look at these photos and see if there is a dog or cat that you could make room for in your home.
February 20, 2013 German Shepherds are my favorite breed so the new show on National Geographic Wild is perfect for me. 'Alpha Dogs' is a great show if you like to watch people being taken down by trained dogs. For some reason I get satisfaction out of watching a drug sniffing dog do his job.

Heinekin is approximately one year old. A sweet boy that is afraid of his own shadow. He appears to have been beaten at some point in his life. A scared dog that needs a patient family to give him love and comfort.
February 18, 2013 A big storm rolled through the Arklatex this afternoon. I believe it formed in the skies above my community. A tornado warning was issued, after the fact for my area. I guess all storms have to start some where.
