News with JW – Tuesday March 22, 2011

Good Tuesday, here are some stories making headlines today:

Texarkana Emergency Management Officials are warning of fire danger across the area today. The lack of rainfall over the past couple of months, combined with strong and gusty southerly winds and low afternoon relative humidities are combing to make the fire danger high. Winds gusting to 30 mph and humidity levels in the 30 percent range will contribute to the problem. As will dry pockets of grass and vegetation and timber fuels which have become volatile due to the drought conditions.
