This is about as dumb as it gets. Australian retailers are going to charge customers for trying on clothes and shoes. The Australian retailers association says that shoppers spend tremendous amounts of time in the retailers stores trying on clothes and shoes, and the retailers time is very valuable, just to buy it cheaper online.  They propose that customers that try on clothes or shoes and do not buy them in the store will be charged a fee, customers who buy after trying on the clothes or shoes will not be charged. In these tough economic times, do you think this is something we will see in the United States? Have you ever done this?
