Ashton Kutcher Replaces Charlie Sheen On “Two And a Half Men”
Though reps for CBS, studio Warner Bros. and Kutcher declined to comment, sources claim the deal is “all but signed.” Kutcher also posted a coy tweet late Thursday night, asking, “What’s the square root of 6.25?”
No word yet on how much Kutcher, who previously co-starred on Fox’s ‘That ’70s Show,’ will be making per-episode, though it is expected to be a “huge payday,” according to the report.
The news comes just days after it was reported that British actor Hugh Grant was set to replace Sheen, who was unceremoniously fired in March for his erratic behavior and for comments made about show creator Chuck Lorre. Grant’s deal fell through at the last second, due to creative differences.
Sound off: Is Ashton Kutcher the right person to replace Charlie Sheen? Or should they have gone with someone else?
