Arkansas Side City Government to Meet Tonight

Arkansas Side City Council meets tonight and will discuss the new water park during their agenda.The Holiday Springs Water Park is to be built North of Interstate 30 and East of Stateline Avenue, adjacent to the Hotel/Convention Center which is being built in the Crossroads Business Park.

Officials hope to have the park open by next swimming season.

Board of Directors will also granting permission for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to have their annual 2012 Race for the Cure Saturday November 10. Also the Texarkana Veterans Council wishes to have their annual Veterans Parade in downtown Texarkana on Saturday November 10.
