Arkansas Democratic Candidate to Visit Texarkana

A candidate for the U.S. House 4th District seat in Arkansas will meet with supporters in Texarkana this evening. 

Q. Byrum Hurst of Hot Springs will be at the Cattleman’s Steakhouse at 4018 North State Line Avenue from 5 until 7pm.

Hurst is taking on Arkanas State Senator Gene Jeffress in the Democratic Primary  in May. The winner of that race will face the Republican Nominee in the Fall General Election. Current Congressman Mike Ross is not running for re-election, but is said to be considering  a run for Arkansas Governor in 2014.
