Annual Cops and Kids Meal Tonight in Texarkana

The annual Cops and Kids meal will be tonight (Tuesday) December 12th, at the Four States Fair Grounds Fine Arts Building.

Police Officers of the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department will meet at the station at 5:00PM and form two convoys; one parade formation will travel to The Texarkana Baptist Orphanage, and the other to The Watersprings Ranch.

The children will ride with a Police Officer in a Patrol Car, with lights and sirens, to The Fair Grounds. The Annual Cops and Kids program is a spirit of fellowship that takes place during the holiday season and it reinforces the positive aspects of community and Police relationships.

These kids look forward to this event every year and we anticipate greeting and feeding sixty kids. It's a truly great event for the officers and especially the children. Thanks to the fine and caring police officers with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department for bringing joy these kids again this Christmas Season.
