Android & iPhone Comparison Shopping App

Google has an app for Android and iPhone for comparison shopping while you are out and about. It's called Google Shopper. It allows you to scan the bar code of an item and Google will find prices at nearby stores and online.

No need to run around town price shopping anymore!  I looked the app up on my Droid and the description says the Shopper recognizes products by cover art, barcode scanning, voice and text search.  It goes on to say that it can find local and online prices, reviews, specifications and more.  I am seeing scenes of super shopping flash before my eyes.  Imagine the time I can save doing something I really, really hate doing: Shopping.  I don't know how to just go out and buy something.  I have to research and compare before I swipe my card.  I have waited months before making a purchase because I just wasn't ready; I didn't have enough information.  That could all change now.
