Texarkana Texas Police say they have arrested a local man for allegedly stealing over $20,000 in jewelry from a local store.

 

Authorities say the theft occured inside the business in the 4500 block of West 7th Street. 46 year old Terell Rogers of Texarkana, Arkansas was arrested for Theft O/$20,000 after he allegedly concealed himself in the jewelry department and is charged with removing nineteen gold/diamond rings before leaving the store.

 

The theft was not discovered until an audit was conducted. Authorities were notified on October 16th that the suspect was attmepting to pawn gold rings at a local pawn store. Following an interview with investigators, Rogers was arrested and is jailed awaiting bond.
