After Maroon 5's Adam Levine announced he was putting out a line of fragrances, his Voice co-star Christina Aguilera dug up an old tweet of his from last year in which he dissed the entire concept of celebrity fragrances and posted it for all to see.  Now, he's explaining his change of heart to People magazine. “I know there’s a stigma attached to it; a stigma that I fully understand because I, too, hate the idea of a celebrity fragrance, absolutely, 100 percent," he tells People.  So why bother doing one, then?  He says, "Well I’m interested in fashion and there’s a lot of things about it that could be really cool if done properly. So I want to do a thing that’s never done properly. That’s my goal.” As for his reaction to Christina's needling him over his initial feelings about fragrances, he tells People that her comments were "funny and silly and friendly."  He adds, "I didn’t actually see that…I heard about it. We were just messing around.” Adam says that his fragrance line, called 222, which is his lucky number, is "going to be cool."
