Accident Takes Electricity Out on Richmond Road (Update)

An early morning accident involving a collision with a light pole has caused a power outage along Richmond Road, just north of Interstate 30 in Texarkana, Texas.Power is out from around the McKnight intersection South towards Interstate 30. This is causing traffic problems due to the stop lights being out. You might want to avoid the area until the power is restored.

Authorities have closed a small portion of Richmond Road from McKnight to Columbine street while repairs are made to restore electricity to the area.
