A Lot Of Bang For Your Buck During Fireworks Season This July 4th [VIDEO]
It's about that time again. The wonderful time where you all decide that for the sake of your children or friends and family that you're going to be the master composer of a fireworks show. Whether it's going to be in your backyard, front yard or some random field you found, there are plenty of places in town to get what you need!
Everyone knows the big one. Stateline Fireworks. You're in luck too because Marketing Manager Catie Dodez said that the season for fireworks in Arkansas runs from June 20 - July 10. The Texas season runs from June 24 - July 4. With three different main Texarkana locations and plenty of stands around town, you're sure to find everything you need to put on a spectacular fireworks show.
So, what type of firework are you? More specifically what are you looking for? I'm a sparkler. I may not be a little kid anymore but sparklers will always be my favorite firework. My brother on the other hand is a loud crazy roman candle. Surprised? Well you shouldn't be. From roman candles to reloadables to rockets or even fountains, these stands have them all.
What is a rocket or reloadable you ask? Well a rocket in it's most basic form is a cylinder filled with gunpowder tied to a stick that will shoot off into the air and end with a bang. Larger the rocket, larger the boom and display. A reloadable is what you're going to want if you are putting on a show. You simply put the firework shell into a reloading tube and light the fuse! These will give you a more professional display. If you're super confused on what i'm talking about, no worries. I went ahead and attached a few videos to help you out. Oh, and if you're going to play with fire, please play responsibly. You don't want to end up burned by a firework like I was as a kid (thanks to my brother for that).
Here are some of the photos we took while visiting Stateline Fireworks today.
