A Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt And Veterans Day Highlight Cool Things

With the chill of fall finally upon us, here are five cool things you can do this weekend.

1.Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt. The Texarkana Museums system is holding this event tomorrow from 1 till 2 PM. Bring the kids to search for dinosaurs at the new exhibit.

2. The Friends of the Library will have their bookstore open this weekend. You can find a great book for you or the kids.

3. 210 Kart Speedway is having the United Freestyle Stunt Show with Kart and Bicycle Races. You can even bring your bike to try out the ramps.

4. Veteran's Day Parade. The annual Veteran's Day Parade will be tomorrow in downtown Texarkana, this year the theme is “Saluting the Women in the Military thru the Years”.

5. Sound Towne Street Pound. This is a car stereo show and car show benefitting the "Wounded Warrior Project".
